DIY or No DIY. Often that is the Question.

When it comes to plumbing issues around our Chattanooga homes, there are times when it might seem perfectly logical to attempt a DIY home repair. While the problem in question might seem like an easy one to fix without calling a professional, there are many cases in which it just wouldn’t be the smart move to take things into your own hands.

Naturally, there are some minor plumbing problems that can be handled by the average homeowner, such as screwing on a faucet filter or maybe even changing a shower head. When it comes to anything that directly impacts a plumbing system, however, the average homeowner is simply out of their league in attempting to handle things independently.

Please remember that All Home Plumbing has been in the Chattanooga area for nearly a decade and a half to serve those needs that are beyond your “pay grade.” Really, it’s okay. Don’t create a bigger problem in your home by trying to fix a plumbing problem! Look up allhomeplumbing.com on the internet. The name says it all. Then call (423) 598-1466.

Hydro Jetting 101.

Let us learn more. Hydro jetting is a method used by qualified plumbers. It essentially cleans slow or even clogged sewer lines. What happens in this process is that a blast or jet stream of water at extremely high pressure is sent into the lines of your Chattanooga area home’s sewer lines that will usually remove blockages and build up.

The first thing we will do is perform a video inspection to both determine the cause and the location of the problem. Now, if tree roots are the problem as they often are, that high pressure blast of water should clear them. We may even use a tool known as a “snake” to tear up the heaviest roots first.

We will do the job of removing debris from your Chattanooga home’s sewer lines with professional hydro jetting. Just give us a call for an inspection and the necessary steps it takes to get your home back to normal. We are All Home Plumbing of Chattanooga.
